I love this long canvas. It seemed perfect for a marsh scene. I went abstract with the marsh grass and feel pretty happy with it. Check out my shop on ETSY.

Swell Watch...
Even though knee high waves can sometimes hit the spot when your in a surf dry spell the excitement a hurricane brings is always a treat (as long as it's not headed for you). Irene blessed us with some head high waves which are a rarity here on the South Carolina coast. It feels great just to get in the water and catch a few glassy waves to make you feel alive. I have always thought of surfing as my therapy session. I take a few breaths and do something just for myself. Thank you Irene.
Succulent planters....
You may have guessed that I am a succulent lover. I found all these adorable creative planters on ETSY.
Hot off of the Easel Thistle flower Painting!
I couldn't resist painting another thistle and I have a feeling I will be painting many more.
I remember as a little girl my Dad always telling me thistles were weeds and I would
shout out " there flowers". Whatever they are I think they are beautiful and I just love
the purple and green .
Visti my my ETSY Store and check out all of my paintings.
Another Favorite Artist
Karin Jurick is yet another brilliant artist. Her bright pure
colors and loose brushstrokes make me envious. She has
a great blog called A Painting Today that's awesome. I
think it is really crucial to get inspired by lots of other
artists. It pushes you to look at things differently and
gets the creative juices flowing.
Inspiring lighting
I must admit I am a sucker for fish stuff but I am amazed at these lighting installations by
Scabetti. Just stunning!
